In the picture to the left is one of the shots I took of the view from my house. It's amazing! It's one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Every day I sit outside for a bit and just enjoy it. It's the perfect place to just relax and read my book in silence but also along with the many different sounds of the bugs and animals that live here. Just a couple nights ago, two of Pao´s, my sister, friends came over to swim in the pool and there was a cute little green frog right next to the pool! I have't seen much animal life here though besides the frog and sadly, lots of stray dogs in the streets. I have been seeing tons of bugs though. Like I mentioned in my last post, there are lots and lots of cucarachas and different types of flies etc..last night there was a lizard in my room though! Pao and I were going to see Toy Story 3 today but we ended up not going because we were both super tired and it was raining so we didn't feel like going out. But I think we are going to see it tomorrow, so that will be fun, especially since it will be in spanish! The other picture is of the other Costa Rican exchange students in my class! There are 5 from Italy, 1 from the Czech Republic, and 6 including me, from the U.S. They are all so cool and we have so much fun in class! It's fun because all our accents and pronunciations are so different, so we always make fun of eachother...hehe. Right now, I am currently not in school because the schools in Costa Rica have a 2 week break in the beginning of July. I just asked Pao why, and she doesn't know! They just do. So that's really cool, I wish we had breaks like that in Seattle. The schools get 2 weeks off but for me and my class, we only get one week off because the point of coming here was to learn spanish so our teacher says we will only have one week off. That's okay though because class is actaully really fun, it will be different though because we will be the only ones not in school. It will be nice though too because we won't constantly be being bombarded with all the other students from Liceo :) So far, it's been a week since I have been here and I am loving every second of it! That's it for now but happy 4th of July everyone! Have a good one!
